        Introduced  by Sen. BORRELLO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
 
        AN ACT in relation to granting on-premise alcohol retailers an extension
          of one year to renew their expired liquor  license  without  any  late
          fees during the COVID-19 state disaster emergency
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary,
     2  if an on-premise alcohol retailer has experienced  a  renewal  date  for
     3  their  New  York  state liquor license between the date a state disaster
     4  emergency was declared by the governor pursuant to executive  order  202
     5  and  December  31, 2020, such retailer shall receive an extension of one
     6  year from the time  such  liquor  license  has  expired  to  renew  such
     7  license, and no late fees shall be charged for such extension.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
