RAJKUMAR -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Transportation AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to establishing a central business district toll exemption for taxicabs The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 1704-a of the vehicle and traffic law is amended by 2 adding a new subdivision 2-a to read as follows: 3 2-a. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, no taxicab as 4 defined in section twelve hundred eighty of the tax law shall be charged 5 a central business district toll. Application for such toll exemption 6 shall be made in such manner as prescribed by the Triborough bridge and 7 tunnel authority and shall contain such information as the authority may 8 reasonably require. 9 § 2.
