        AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation  to  requiring  employers  to
          include  an  epinephrine  auto-injector  device  in first aid supplies
          required by federal law
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  The  labor law is amended by adding a new section 27-f to
     2  read as follows:
     3    § 27-f. Requiring first aid materials in a  workplace  to  include  an
     4  epinephrine  auto-injector  device.  1. All employers that are federally
     5  mandated to have first aid supplies readily available for the  treatment
     6  of  all  injured  employees  must  include  an epinephrine auto-injector
     7  device in such first aid supplies.
     8    2. For the purposes of this section:
     9    (a) "employer" shall include any person, corporation, limited  liabil-
    10  ity  company, or association employing any individual in any occupation,
    11  industry, trade, business, or service, but shall not include  a  govern-
    12  mental agency.
    13    (b)  "epinephrine auto-injector device" shall have the same meaning as
    14  provided in paragraph (b) of subdivision one of section three thousand-c
    15  of the public health law.
    16    § 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred eightieth day after
    17  it shall have become a law.
