          portation  in  accordance  with  Assembly  Rule 3, sec. 2 -- committee
          discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted
          to said committee
 
        AN ACT to amend chapter 108 of the laws of 2016,  amending  the  vehicle
          and  traffic  law  relating to authorizing a pilot residential parking
          permit system in the city  of  Buffalo,  in  relation  to  permanently
          authorizing such provisions
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 108 of the laws of 2016, amending  the
     2  vehicle  and  traffic  law  relating  to authorizing a pilot residential
     3  parking permit system in the city of Buffalo, as amended by chapter  368
     4  of the laws of 2021, is amended to read as follows:
     5    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately [and shall expire December
     6  31,  2026 when upon such date the provisions of this act shall be deemed
     7  repealed].
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
