          read once and referred to the Committee on Agriculture
 
        AN ACT to amend the agriculture and markets law, in relation to  exempt-
          ing  the  city  of New York from certain regulations concerning frozen
          desserts
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Article 4-A of the agriculture and markets law is amended
     2  by adding a new section 71-aa to read as follows:
     3    § 71-aa. Exemption for certain cities. This article shall not apply to
     4  a city with a population of one million or more.
     5    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
