ROSENTHAL -- read once and referred to the Committee on Higher Education AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to providing free menstrual products in the restrooms of private colleges and universi- ties The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. The public health law is amended by adding a new section 2 267-c to read as follows: 3 § 267-c. Menstrual products in private colleges and universities. All 4 private colleges and universities in the state shall provide menstrual 5 products in the restrooms of such school building or buildings. Such 6 products shall be provided at no charge to students. 7 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
