        Introduced  by  M.  of  A.  BUTTENSCHON -- read once and referred to the
          Committee on Codes
 
        AN ACT to amend the penal law, in relation to unlawful dissemination  of
          a personal image
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. The opening paragraph of paragraph (a) of subdivision 2  of
     2  section 250.70 of the penal law, as amended by chapter 30 of the laws of
     3  2023, is amended to read as follows:
     4    The  provisions  of  section [270.71] 250.71 of this article shall not
     5  apply to the following:
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and  shall  be  deemed  to
     7  have  been  in  full  force  and effect on the same date and in the same
     8  manner as chapter 805 of the laws of 2022, took effect.
