          tee on Economic Development
 
        AN ACT to amend the alcoholic  beverage  control  law,  in  relation  to
          requiring  notice  to state elected officials upon receipt of applica-
          tions for certain licenses issued by the state liquor authority

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  The alcoholic beverage control law is amended by adding a
     2  new section 110-d to read as follows:
     3    § 110-d. Notification to legislative  members.  The  authority  shall,
     4  within  thirty  days of the receipt of a completed application for which
     5  notice to municipalities is required under section one hundred ten-b  of
     6  this  article, provide written notice to the members of the state assem-
     7  bly and senate who represent the  district  in  which  the  premises  is
     8  located  or is proposed to be located, that the application was received
     9  by the authority.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day  after  it  shall
    11  have become a law.
