        AN  ACT  to amend section 4 of part C of chapter 57 of the laws of 2024,
          amending the education law relating  to  removing  the  exemption  for
          school   psychologists  to  render  early  intervention  services,  in
          relation to the effectiveness thereof

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Section  4  of  part C of chapter 57 of the laws of 2024,
     2  amending the education law relating to removing the exemption for school
     3  psychologists to render early intervention services, is amended to  read
     4  as follows:
     5    §  4.  This  act  shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
     6  have been in full force and effect on and after April 1, 2024; provided,
     7  however, that sections one and two of this act shall take effect  [April
     8  1,  2025]  June 30, 2026; provided further, however, that the amendments
     9  to paragraph d of subdivision 6 of section 4410  of  the  education  law
    10  made  by section one of this act shall not affect the expiration of such
    11  paragraph and shall be deemed to expire therewith; and provided further,
    12  however, that the amendments to subdivision 1 of  section  7605  of  the
    13  education law made by section two of this act shall not affect the expi-
    14  ration of such subdivision and shall be deemed to expire therewith.
    15    §  2.  This  act  shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
    16  have been in full force and effect on and after April 1, 2025.
