        AN ACT to amend chapter 670 of the laws of 2022 amending the real  prop-
          erty  tax  law  relating  to  providing all local governments with the
          option to provide a property tax exemption to  volunteer  firefighters
          and  volunteer  ambulance  workers,  in  relation to the effectiveness
          thereof
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Section 3 of chapter 670 of the laws of 2022 amending the
     2  real property tax law relating to providing all local  governments  with
     3  the option to provide a property tax exemption to volunteer firefighters
     4  and volunteer ambulance workers is amended to read as follows:
     5    §  3.  This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that
     6  section two of this act shall take effect [three] six  years  after  the
     7  effective date of this act.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
