AN ACT to amend chapter 495 of the laws of 2011 relating to the convey-
ance of land formerly used as an armory to the town of Riverhead,
county of Suffolk, in relation to the use of such property
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 4 of chapter 495 of the laws of 2011 relating to
2 the conveyance of land formerly used as an armory to the town of River-
3 head, county of Suffolk, is amended to read as follows:
4 § 4. Any lands transferred pursuant to this act shall be entered into
5 leases or other agreements with the YMCA of Long Island upon terms
6 agreed upon by the town of Riverhead and the YMCA of Long Island and
7 shall be used for the purposes of the [town of Riverhead] YMCA of Long
8 Island to utilize the subject property [and improve the structures for
9 use by the police department, justice court, public safety and recre-
10 ational programs developed and operated by the town of Riverhead police
11 department and upon termination of such use title to the lands so trans-
12 ferred shall revert to the state of New York] to improve the structures
13 and provide for recreational and community services; provided, however,
14 that if such lands cease to be used for such purposes, then such lands
15 shall revert to the state of New York.
16 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
