DiPIETRO -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to the elimi- nation of tolls for certain vehicles on the New York state thruway The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 354 of the public authorities law is amended by 2 adding a new subdivision 8-a to read as follows: 3 8-a. To develop and implement regulations providing for the elimi- 4 nation of tolls on the New York state thruway for vehicles transporting 5 veterans to and from veteran's administration hospitals and other veter- 6 an's healthcare facilities. 7 § 2.
