        AN ACT to amend the public health law,  in  relation  to  directing  the
          department  of  health  to establish and maintain a menopause informa-
          tional and resource webpage on the department website

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 266 of the public health law is amended by adding a
     2  new subdivision 7 to read as follows:
     3    7.  Menopause. In accordance with this section, the commissioner shall
     4  establish informational materials  and  resources,  no  later  than  one
     5  hundred  eighty days after the effective date of this subdivision, which
     6  shall include, but not be limited to: (a)  stages  of  menopause;  which
     7  include  perimenopause,  menopause, and postmenopause; (b) treatment and
     8  management care for perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause; and  (c)
     9  symptoms and physical complications associated with perimenopause, meno-
    10  pause or postmenopause.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
