HONORING Meridian Lodge No. 93 & Meridian Chapter
No. 67 upon the occasion of hosting their "Meridian
on the Bayou" celebration and paying tribute to
Brother David J. Minor, Sister Sabrina L. Crockett,
and Brother Robert B. Hensley on September 20, 2025
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend fraternal and civic organizations whose enduring commitment and
service uplift communities and honor those whose leadership exemplifies
excellence; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is proud to honor
Meridian Lodge No. 93 & Meridian Chapter No. 67 upon the occasion of
hosting their "Meridian on the Bayou" celebration, to be held on
Saturday, September 20, 2025; and
WHEREAS, The "Meridian on the Bayou" event stands as a testament to
the unity, cultural heritage, and community service embodied by the
members of Meridian Lodge No. 93 and Meridian Chapter No. 67, who
continue to enrich lives through charitable outreach, mentorship, and
fellowship; and
WHEREAS, This year's celebration will recognize three esteemed
honorees whose distinguished contributions have left a lasting impact on
their organizations and communities: Bro. David J. Minor, Sis. Sabrina
L. Crockett, and Bro. Robert B. Hensley; and
WHEREAS, Bro. David J. Minor is recognized for his unwavering
leadership, integrity, and mentorship, fostering the growth and legacy
of Meridian Lodge No. 93 and modeling the highest ideals of Freemasonry;
and
WHEREAS, Sis. Sabrina L. Crockett is honored for her tireless
dedication to service, sisterhood, and civic engagement within Meridian
Chapter No. 67 and beyond, championing initiatives that uplift and
empower others; and
WHEREAS, Bro. Robert B. Hensley is celebrated for his steadfast
commitment to excellence and unity, his contributions to community
enrichment, and his embodiment of the principles of brotherhood and
service; and
WHEREAS, It is fitting that this Legislative Body recognizes and
celebrates the exceptional leadership of these honorees and the
meaningful work of Meridian Lodge No. 93 and Meridian Chapter No. 67,
who together exemplify the values of honor, service, and community; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Meridian Lodge No. 93 & Meridian Chapter No. 67 upon the occasion
of hosting their "Meridian on the Bayou" celebration, and to recognize
Bro. David J. Minor, Sis. Sabrina L. Crockett, and Bro. Robert B.
Hensley for their exemplary service and contributions; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Meridian Lodge No. 93, Meridian Chapter No. 67, and each
of the honored individuals as a token of the esteem in which they are
held.
