CONGRATULATING the Arlington High School Boys
Bowling Team and Coach Stefanie Rice upon the
occasion of winning the 2025 NYSPHSAA Division I
Boys Bowling Championship
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend outstanding student-athletes and athletic teams in the State of
New York who distinguish themselves through exceptional performance,
hard work, and dedication to excellence; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate the Arlington High School Boys Bowling Team and Coach
Stefanie Rice upon the occasion of capturing the 2025 New York State
Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Division I Boys
Bowling Championship; and
WHEREAS, The championship was held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at
Strike N Spare Lanes in Syracuse, New York, where the Arlington Admirals
toppled an impressive 6,751 pins to earn the Division I state title; and
WHEREAS, The Admirals' victory marks a historic achievement as they
became the first Boys Bowling Team from Dutchess County to win a
NYSPHSAA state title, exceeding the expectations of many and cementing
their place in local sports history; and
WHEREAS, After trailing by 15 pins at the midway point of the
competition, the team surged into first place with a remarkable 1,217
fourth game, demonstrating resilience, composure, and a deep competitive
spirit; and
WHEREAS, Under the expert leadership of Head Coach Stefanie Rice and
the support of Athletic Director Michael Cring, Arlington's team
showcased their commitment and determination following years of being
contenders, finally claiming the championship they had worked so hard to
achieve; and
WHEREAS, The team's remarkable season was made possible by the
talent and dedication of its student-athletes: Sam Ariola, Braden
Cassidy, Lukas Csury, Keagan Howles, Nick Manno, Owen McNamara, and Ivan
Ortega; and
WHEREAS, The achievements of the Arlington High School Boys Bowling
Team reflect not only the talent and commitment of the athletes and
coaches, but also the strong support of their families, school, and
community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate the Arlington High School Boys Bowling Team and Coach
Stefanie Rice upon the occasion of winning the 2025 NYSPHSAA Division I
Boys Bowling Championship, and to extend best wishes for continued
success on and off the lanes; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Head Coach Stefanie Rice, Athletic Director Michael
Cring, and the members of the Arlington High School Boys Bowling Team.
