HONORING Doric Lodge No. 53 Men of Distinction
upon the occasion of hosting its Shades of Fall Day
Party to be held on October 11, 2025
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those venerable institutions whose enduring commitment to
fraternal excellence, community empowerment, and distinguished
leadership contributes significantly to the social fabric of New York
State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is proud to honor Doric
Lodge No. 53 Men of Distinction upon the occasion of hosting its Shades
of Fall Day Party-a celebration of fellowship and community-on Saturday,
October 11, 2025; and
WHEREAS, Since its founding, Doric Lodge No. 53 has exemplified the
principles of integrity, brotherhood, and service, standing as a
cornerstone within the Prince Hall Masonic tradition and an enduring
source of inspiration for all who strive to uplift their communities;
and
WHEREAS, The Men of Distinction Shades of Fall Day Party represents
not only an opportunity to revel in camaraderie but also to celebrate
the transformative power of collective action and shared purpose; and
WHEREAS, The esteemed members of Doric Lodge No. 53, past and
present, have dedicated themselves to promoting education, philanthropy,
and moral development, fostering a legacy of leadership and resilience
that continues to thrive; and
WHEREAS, Under the exemplary stewardship of Worshipful Master Walter
Whaley and the officers of Doric Lodge No. 53, the Lodge remains
steadfast in its mission to uphold the Masonic tenets of brotherly love,
relief, and truth, ensuring that its positive impact is felt throughout
New York and beyond; and
WHEREAS, It is fitting that this Legislative Body recognize and
commend Doric Lodge No. 53 for its unwavering dedication to excellence
and its continued role as a guiding light within the community; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Doric Lodge No. 53 Men of Distinction upon the occasion of hosting
its Shades of Fall Day Party and to extend its highest regard and best
wishes for continued success in all its noble endeavors; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Worshipful Master Walter Whaley and the officers and
brethren of Doric Lodge No. 53 Men of Distinction.
