HONORING Making the Impossible Possible, Inc. upon
the occasion of hosting its 14th Power of
Partnerships, Scholarships & Hall of Fame Gala, to
be held October 5, 2025
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend community focused organizations whose persistent dedication to
youth empowerment, education, and civic engagement materially enhances
the fabric of New York's neighborhoods; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Making the Impossible Possible, Inc. upon the occasion of hosting its
14th Power of Partnerships, Scholarships & Hall of Fame Gala on Sunday,
October 5, 2025; and
WHEREAS, Making the Impossible Possible, Inc. (MIPO) is a nonprofit
based in Brooklyn, New York, whose mission is to empower immigrant and
underprivileged youth and their families by providing sustainable
skills, mentoring, scholarship opportunities, life skills training, and
educational support; and
WHEREAS, Since its founding, MIPO has uplifted communities through
its signature annual fundraising gala, now in its 14th year, which
highlights career achievements, educational attainment, scholarship
recipients, and the enduring power of collaboration; and
WHEREAS, The 2025 Gala will spotlight honorees inducted into the
MIPO Hall of Fame whose commitment and success exemplify the
organization's spirit and values; and
WHEREAS, This annual event showcases not only MIPO's achievements
but also functions as a dynamic platform for cultivating partnerships
among community leaders, supporters, and stakeholders to further
educational and economic opportunities for youth; and
WHEREAS, It is fitting that this Legislative Body recognize Making
the Impossible Possible, Inc. for its sustained contributions to
community enrichment and acknowledge the impact of its 14th Gala; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Making the Impossible Possible, Inc. upon the occasion of its 14th
Power of Partnerships, Scholarships & Hall of Fame Gala, to be held
October 5, 2025; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, duly engrossed, be
transmitted to Making the Impossible Possible, Inc. as a token of this
Legislative Body's highest admiration and support.
