HONORING Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant, International
Speaker, Author, Entrepreneur, and Transformational
Leader upon the occasion of her receipt of the
Strategic Vision Award in Global & Transformational
Leadership by the Young, Gifted, & Black
Entrepreneurial Awards
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend individuals whose visionary leadership, civic engagement, and
transformative initiatives have advanced communities, inspired
innovation, and exemplified excellence across professional,
philanthropic, and global spheres; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, this Legislative Body is proud
to honor Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant, award-winning international speaker,
master facilitator, best-selling author, producer, media personality,
and faith-based entrepreneur, upon her receipt of the Strategic Vision
Award in Global & Transformational Leadership by the Young, Gifted, &
Black Entrepreneurial Awards; and
WHEREAS, Founded in 2006 by Carl Gray, the Young, Gifted, & Black
Entrepreneurial Awards is a nonprofit organization dedicated to
recognizing distinguished individuals of color across the Americas, the
Caribbean, and Africa, celebrating "Unsung Heroes and Heroines" whose
leadership, resilience, and service have made a lasting impact across
business, arts, healthcare, and community development; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant exemplifies transformational
leadership, building platforms and organizations that empower
faith-based entrepreneurs and professionals through her founding of
Destiny Designers University, the only training and development platform
for "Faithpreneurs", and her production of the Faithpreneur TV Network
and Sunday Joy Morning Show on 97.1FM HD3 and IrieJamRadio.com,
providing global exposure for visionary leaders in the marketplace; and
WHEREAS, As Chief Brilliance Officer of C&G Enterprises Unlimited,
LLC, Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant specializes in meeting facilitation,
professional development, and training for government and corporate
clients, advancing innovative strategies that enhance organizational
performance and workforce development; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant's commitment to civic engagement and
youth mentorship is profound, including her leadership as Facilitator
for the JFK International Airport Redevelopment Community Advisory
Council, service on the Boards of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the
Workshop in Business Opportunity, membership on the Queens, New York
District Attorney African American Advisory Council, and advisory roles
to elected officials at local and state levels; and
WHEREAS, In recognition of her global impact, Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant
has received numerous awards including the 2016 Presidential Lifetime
Achievement Award for Volunteer Service from President Barack Obama,
designation as a Fellow of the Most Excellent Order of International
Experts (FOIE), the 2019 "I Change Nations" World Civility Ambassador
Award, and accolades from state and local governments, professional
associations, and civic organizations; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant currently serves as the International
President & CEO of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., leading over 900
chapters across 12 countries, and as Chairwoman of the NPHC Council of
Presidents, exemplifying a global commitment to leadership, service, and
empowerment; and
WHEREAS, Through a lifetime of strategic vision, service, and
leadership, Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant has inspired countless individuals to
pursue excellence, embrace purpose, and elevate communities, leaving an
enduring legacy of transformational impact; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant, upon her receipt of the Strategic Vision
Award in Global & Transformational Leadership, and to commend her
extraordinary contributions to global leadership, entrepreneurship,
civic engagement, and public service; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant as an expression of the highest
respect and appreciation of this Legislative Body.
