COMMEMORATING the 5th Anniversary of Lafa
Mediterranean by Zeina's
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses that contribute
substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby
enhancing the economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 5th Anniversary of Lafa Mediterranean by Zeina's, to be
celebrated on Monday, March 2, 2026; and
WHEREAS, Founded in 2021 by the Zeina family, Lafa Mediterranean by
Zeina's has become a local favorite known for fresh Mediterranean food,
welcoming hospitality, and strong community roots; and
WHEREAS, The Zeina family, which includes Albert, Layla, Elias,
Melissa, and Sarkis, is proud to provide unique and memorable cuisine to
the New Hartford, New York, community; and
WHEREAS, Currently owned and operated by Elias Zeina, Lafa
Mediterranean by Zeina's will be celebrating its five successful years
of business by offering discounts, merchandise, giveaways, and free
Turkish coffee to customers who visit during the celebration; and
WHEREAS, The success of Lafa Mediterranean by Zeina's is in direct
correlation to the efforts of its staff and owners, whose involvement
is, and always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an
unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in
all endeavors on behalf of the community; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident that it will continue to
enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 5th Anniversary of Lafa Mediterranean by Zeina's, to be
celebrated on Monday, March 2, 2026; and
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Lafa Mediterranean by Zeina's.
