HONORING Prominent Coffee Co. upon the occasion of
its designation as recipient of the People's Choice
Award by the Clarence Chamber of Commerce on March
21, 2024
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those distinguished individuals and businesses which contribute
substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby
enhancing the economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Prominent Coffee Co. upon the occasion of its designation as recipient
of the People's Choice Award by the Clarence Chamber of Commerce, to be
celebrated at its 52nd Annual Awards Gala on Thursday, March 20, 2024;
and
WHEREAS, Having opened its doors only one-and-a-half years ago,
Prominent Coffee Co. has quickly become a beloved gathering spot in the
Clarence community and has been justly selected to receive the
distinguished People's Choice Award by the Clarence Chamber of Commerce
for its service to its community and high favorability; and
WHEREAS, The owner of Prominent Coffee Co., Stephen Szortyka, is a
successful and creative businessman; he has over 21 years of experience
designing haunted attractions across the globe and has operated a
thriving marketing agency for the last eight years, helping brands shine
through innovative strategies and bold new ideas; and
WHEREAS, Not only is Stephen Szortyka known for his exceptional
business endeavors, but he is also renowned for his commitment to his
community; he proudly serves on the boards of impactful nonprofits such
as Hope Rises and Sophia the Fierce; additionally, he supports
initiatives such as Sweet Buffalo and Be A Blessing Buffalo, always
giving of his time and energy to causes close to his heart; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Prominent Coffee Co. upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the People's Choice Award by the Clarence Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Stephen Szortyka, Owner of Prominent Coffee Co.
