COMMEMORATING the 2025 Desert Conference of the
Desert of New York, A.E.A.O.N.M.S., to be held May
1-4, 2025
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those esteemed organizations that have demonstrated an
unwavering commitment to service, leadership, and community empowerment;
and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 2025 Desert Conference of the Desert of New York,
Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine (A.E.A.O.N.M.S.), to
be held May 1-4, 2025; and
WHEREAS, The Desert of New York has long stood as a pillar of
charitable giving, civic engagement, and fraternal unity, upholding the
mission and values of the A.E.A.O.N.M.S. while fostering brotherhood,
mentorship, and service throughout the state; and
WHEREAS, The Desert Conference serves as a vital gathering for
Nobles, leadership, and members, providing opportunities for strategic
planning, leadership development, and community impact initiatives that
strengthen both the organization and the communities it serves; and
WHEREAS, Under the esteemed leadership of Imperial Deputy of the
Desert, HPIP Damien E. Hall, and Imperial Deputy for the Desert, Dr.
Cassandra Duff, HPIC, the 2025 Desert Conference will bring together
Shriners from across New York to engage in fellowship, training, and
discussions on the continued growth and mission of the organization; and
WHEREAS, Through its dedication to scholarship programs, youth
mentorship, health awareness initiatives, and charitable contributions,
the Desert of New York continues to make a profound difference in the
lives of countless individuals, furthering its commitment to
philanthropy, leadership, and service; and
WHEREAS, The 2025 Desert Conference marks a significant moment to
reflect on the legacy, strength, and future of the Desert of New York,
celebrating its continued excellence and dedication to service; and
WHEREAS, It is fitting and proper that this Legislative Body pause
in its deliberations to acknowledge the significance of this event and
to recognize the profound contributions of the Desert of New York,
A.E.A.O.N.M.S., in advancing education, charity, and civic engagement;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 2025 Desert Conference of the Desert of New York,
A.E.A.O.N.M.S., to be held May 1-4, 2025, and to extend sincere
appreciation to Imperial Deputy of the Desert, HPIP Damien E. Hall,
Imperial Deputy for the Desert, Dr. Cassandra Duff, HPIC, and all Nobles
for their unwavering commitment to service, excellence, and empowerment;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Imperial Deputy of the Desert, HPIP Damien E. Hall,
Imperial Deputy for the Desert, Dr. Cassandra Duff, HPIC, and the Desert
of New York, A.E.A.O.N.M.S.
