COMMENDING the Adah Chapter No. 82, Order of the
Eastern Star upon the occasion of hosting its Annual
Five Point Tea on March 2, 2025
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend organizations that promote unity, service, and empowerment,
fostering traditions that inspire fellowship and personal growth; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Adah Chapter No. 82, Order of the Eastern Star upon the occasion
of hosting its Annual Five Point Tea, an event to be held on Sunday,
March 2, 2025, which celebrates the principles of sisterhood,
leadership, and community service; and
WHEREAS, As a distinguished chapter within the Order of the Eastern
Star, Adah Chapter No. 82 has long upheld the mission of faith, charity,
and dedication to service, strengthening the bonds of fellowship among
its members and throughout the community; and
WHEREAS, The Five Point Tea serves as a time-honored gathering that
reflects the values of the Five Heroines of the Order of the Eastern
Star, symbolizing the virtues of Fidelity, Constancy, Loyalty, Faith,
and Love, and encouraging attendees to embody these guiding principles
in their daily lives; and
WHEREAS, This special occasion not only celebrates sisterhood and
tradition but also supports charitable initiatives that uplift
individuals and families, reaffirming Adah Chapter No. 82's commitment
to service and excellence; and
WHEREAS, Through this event, members and guests alike are inspired
to cultivate leadership, embrace tradition, and strengthen the bonds of
fellowship, ensuring that the legacy of the Order of the Eastern Star
continues to thrive for future generations; and
WHEREAS, It is fitting and proper that this Legislative Body pause
in its deliberations to acknowledge the significance of this event and
recognize the dedicated members of Adah Chapter No. 82 for their
enduring contributions to community service and sisterhood; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend the Adah Chapter No. 82, Order of the Eastern Star upon the
occasion of hosting its Annual Five Point Tea, and to extend its best
wishes for a successful and meaningful gathering; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Adah Chapter No. 82, Order of the Eastern Star.
