        HONORING  Debra A. Weiner upon the occasion of her
        designation   for   special   recognition   by   UJA
        Westchester   at   its   Business  and  Professional
        Division Annual Spring Dinner
 
  WHEREAS, From time to time, this  Legislative  Body  takes  note  of
certain   extraordinary  individuals  and  organizations  it  wishes  to
recognize for their valued contributions to the success and progress  of
society and publicly acknowledge their endeavors which have enhanced the
basic humanity among us all; and
 
  WHEREAS,  This  Legislative  Body  is justly proud to honor Debra A.
Weiner upon the occasion of her designation for special  recognition  by
UJA  Westchester at its Business and Professional Division Annual Spring
Dinner at Brae Burn Country Club on Tuesday, April 29, 2025; and
 
  WHEREAS, UJA Westchester operates as part of the  UJA-Federation  of
New  York,  which  is  dedicated  to  caring for Jews everywhere and New
Yorkers of all  backgrounds,  responding  to  crises  both  locally  and
globally,  and  shaping  the  Jewish  future; in Westchester County, UJA
supports a network of nonprofits that  play  significant  roles  in  the
Jewish community and the broader social service landscape; and
 
  WHEREAS,   By   funding   and   collaborating  with  such  nonprofit
organizations, UJA Westchester works to strengthen Jewish life,  provide
essential  services  to  those  in need, and foster a vibrant, inclusive
community within Westchester County; and
 
  WHEREAS,  Debra  A.  Weiner  has  been   helping   individuals   and
institutional  clients  for  over 35 years, including 34 years at Stifel
and firms ultimately acquired by Stifel; she holds the Accredited  Asset
Management  Specialist designation and personally oversees approximately
$600 million of her clients' assets; she is also a member of the  Stifel
Chairman's  Council,  which consisted of 230 of the firm's top-producing
financial advisors for 2024, who were recognized from  among  more  than
2,300 Stifel financial advisors across the nation; and
 
  WHEREAS,  Truly revered in her field, Debra A. Weiner has been named
to Forbes' America's Top Women Wealth Advisors list for 2020  and  2021,
Forbes'  Best-in-State  Women Wealth Advisors list for 2022, 2023, 2024,
and 2025, as well as Forbes'  Best-in-State  Wealth  Advisors  list  for
2021,  2022,  2023,  and  2024,  among  numerous  other distinctions and
praises; and
 
  WHEREAS, This distinguished honoree, Debra A. Weiner, is a  founding
member  of  Stifel's Women's Initiative Network (WIN) and is a member of
WIN's Steering Committee; her husband, David, a 35-plus year  investment
professional,  joined  her  at  Stifel in 2014 to form The Weiner Wealth
Management Group; and
 
  WHEREAS, Debra A. Weiner has been highly active  in  her  faith  and
philanthropic   community,   serving   as  president  of  several  large
organizations, including the Westchester Jewish Council, and as chair of
 
the UJA Federation of New York  Westchester  Business  and  Professional
Division,  a  global  philanthropy  dedicated  to helping people in need
throughout the United States and around the world, and remains  actively
involved in both organizations in leadership roles; and
 
  WHEREAS,  With a belief that financial education is essential, Debra
A.  Weiner has shared her expertise by speaking at several public forums
on a wide range of investment topics,  including  asset  management  and
allocation,  tax-advantaged  investment  strategies, and estate planning
issues; and
 
  WHEREAS, Debra A.  Weiner  earned  a  Bachelor  of  Arts  degree  in
Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, is a lifelong
resident  of  White  Plains, New York, and lives there with her husband,
David, while their grown daughter, a University  of  Michigan  graduate,
works in New York City; and
 
  WHEREAS,  It  is  the  sense  of  this  Legislative  Body  that when
organizations of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to  our
attention,  they  should be recognized and applauded by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
 
  RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its  deliberations  to
honor  Debra  A. Weiner upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by UJA Westchester at its Business and Professional Division
Annual Spring Dinner; and be it further
 
  RESOLVED, That a copy of this  Resolution,  suitably  engrossed,  be
transmitted to Debra A. Weiner.
