COMMEMORATING the Mystic Chapter No. 11 Five Point
High Tea and recognizing the leadership of Worthy
Matron Michelle Williams
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those esteemed fraternal organizations that promote spiritual
enrichment, civic engagement, and acts of service throughout communities
across New York State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
proud traditions, this Legislative Body is pleased to commemorate the
Mystic Chapter No. 11 Five Point High Tea, a cherished occasion held
under the leadership of Worthy Matron Michelle Williams, on Sunday, May
4, 2025; and
WHEREAS, Mystic Chapter No. 11 is a distinguished chapter within the
Order of the Eastern Star, Prince Hall Affiliation, an organization
rooted in the principles of charity, fidelity, and fellowship and
committed to spiritual and social upliftment through acts of benevolence
and unity; and
WHEREAS, The Five Point High Tea is a meaningful tradition that
honors the foundational virtues of the Order-Fidelity, Constancy,
Loyalty, Faith, and Love-symbolized by the five heroic figures of Adah,
Ruth, Esther, Martha, and Electa; and
WHEREAS, This elegant gathering provides an opportunity for
reflection, celebration, and fellowship among members, family, and
community supporters while highlighting the Chapter's charitable
initiatives and commitment to positive impact; and
WHEREAS, Under the thoughtful guidance of Worthy Matron Michelle
Williams, Mystic Chapter No. 11 continues to exemplify the ideals of
leadership, dignity, and sisterhood, maintaining a steadfast presence in
the lives of those they serve; and
WHEREAS, Events, such as the Five Point High Tea, uplift the
cultural and spiritual traditions of the Order, affirm the value of
service and sisterhood, and inspire continued dedication to community
betterment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the Mystic Chapter No. 11 Five Point High Tea and to honor
Worthy Matron Michelle Williams for her leadership and devotion to the
enduring mission of the Order of the Eastern Star; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Worthy Matron Michelle Williams and the members of Mystic
Chapter No. 11, Prince Hall Order of the Eastern Star.
