CONGRATULATING Peconic Landing upon the occasion
of its designation as recipient of the 2024 Pinnacle
Award for Best in Wellness in Senior Living
Communities in North America by the International
Council on Active Aging
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that the quality
and character of life in this great Empire State is greatly enriched by
the faithful and diligent work of those institutions which serve to meet
the needs of the senior community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate Peconic Landing upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the 2024 Pinnacle Award for Best in Wellness in Senior
Living Communities in North America by the International Council on
Active Aging; and
WHEREAS, The Pinnacle Award from the International Council on Active
Aging honors senior living communities, wellness directors, and
executives whose achievements, innovations, directions, or commitments
in wellness stand out as extraordinary guiding lights for all
organizations and individuals in the active-aging industry; and
WHEREAS, Peconic Landing is a community that provides a vibrant and
fulfilling lifestyle through choice and opportunity; members are
encouraged to pursue their interests and passions to the fullest for
continued growth toward successful living; and
WHEREAS, The curation of meaningful relationships among Peconic
Landing members, its team, and the greater North Fork community at
large, nurtures a welcoming spirit and a strong sense of unity which is
evident in the joy and comfort reflected in the residents who reside
there; and
WHEREAS, The efforts of Peconic Landing to become a leader in its
field and example of top tier wellness in senior living has justly paid
off with this esteemed recognition by the International Council on
Active Aging; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those
institutions which unselfishly devote their energy, resources, and
thoughtful care, with the purpose of improving the quality and dignity
of life for our revered seniors, are worthy and due full praise and
recognition for their noble and dedicated efforts; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Peconic Landing upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the 2024 Pinnacle Award for Best in Wellness in Senior
Living Communities in North America by the International Council on
Active Aging; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Peconic Landing.
