COMMEMORATING the 20th Anniversary of Sherrill
Manufacturing, Inc.
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses that contribute
substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby
enhancing the economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Sherrill Manufacturing, Inc., at its
Anniversary Celebration at its Flatware Factory, in Sherrill, New York,
on Tuesday, March 25, 2025; and
WHEREAS, Liberty Tabletop, a division of Sherrill Manufacturing,
Inc., is a family-owned-and-operated business co-owned by Matthew
Roberts, Greg Owens, and Drummond, LLC; its factory has proudly produced
quality flatware for more than a century; and
WHEREAS, Liberty Tabletop is the only flatware manufacturer in the
United States, fostering growth of the national economy, providing
career jobs to people in the community, and preserving the craft of
flatware manufacturing and tool making; and
WHEREAS, Always socially conscientious, Liberty Tabletop uses
American-made products in its manufacturing processes and hires local
accounting, legal, and marketing firms; these efforts drive the American
economy in a safe, ethical, and environmentally friendly way; and
WHEREAS, Sherrill Manufacturing, Inc., prides itself on quality
production, earning the trust and loyalty of its customers who will
receive excellent customer service and products of only the highest
quality; and
WHEREAS, President and Co-Founder of Sherrill Manufacturing, Inc.,
Matthew Roberts, emphasizes that the anniversary is a time to celebrate
and honor everyone who has contributed to the company's success; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pride that Sherrill Manufacturing, Inc.,
and its dedicated workers celebrate this milestone 20th Anniversary and
anticipate many more years of success for generations to come; and
WHEREAS, The progression of Sherrill Manufacturing, Inc., is in
direct correlation to the efforts of its owners and employees, whose
involvement is, and always has been, characterized by an impressive
commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of
excellence in all endeavors on behalf of the business and the community
it serves; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business, its contributions to the local
and State economies, and its vibrant role in improving the quality of
life in its community, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy
the success it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Sherrill Manufacturing, Inc.; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Sherrill Manufacturing, Inc.
