COMMEMORATING the 72nd Annual Convention of the
Ladies Auxiliary of the Central New York
Firefighters Association, hosted by the New York
Mills Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, from July
18-20, 2025
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to honor and
recognize those exceptional organizations whose commitment to service,
volunteerism, and community support strengthens the very foundation of
our State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 72nd Annual Convention of the Ladies Auxiliary of the
Central New York Firefighters Association, hosted by the New York Mills
Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary from July 18-20, 2025, in New Hartford,
New York; and
WHEREAS, For more than seven decades, the Ladies Auxiliary of the
CNYFA has been a vital force in supporting fire departments across
Central New York, offering encouragement, resources, and steadfast
friendship to firefighters and their families; and
WHEREAS, Formed to promote unity, morale, and community service, the
Auxiliary provides essential support through volunteer efforts,
fundraising, hospitality, and event coordination, standing shoulder to
shoulder with those who serve in the fire service; and
WHEREAS, The Auxiliary members exemplify compassion and dedication,
giving generously of their time and talents to strengthen the fire
service network and to provide comfort and care to those in need; and
WHEREAS, The Annual Convention brings together Auxiliary members
from throughout the region to conduct organizational business, recognize
outstanding contributions, share knowledge and fellowship, and reaffirm
their commitment to service; and
WHEREAS, The New York Mills Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, with
its proud legacy of volunteerism and community engagement, serves as a
fitting and gracious host for this milestone gathering, continuing its
tradition of excellence in service; and
WHEREAS, The members of this Legislative Body are proud to express
appreciation for the enduring work of the Ladies Auxiliary and their
partnership with the fire service in enhancing public safety and civic
pride; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 72nd Annual Convention of the Ladies Auxiliary of the
Central New York Firefighters Association, and to commend the New York
Mills Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for its dedicated efforts in
hosting this significant event from July 18-20, 2025; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Central New York Firefighters
Association and the New York Mills Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
