HONORING Chrissy Grigoropoulos-Peleytay, Esq. upon
the occasion of her designation for special
recognition at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Visionary Awards Gala on March 22, 2026
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend those extraordinary individuals whose humanitarian service,
visionary leadership, and global advocacy reflect the enduring
principles of justice, equality, and peace championed by Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr.; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Chrissy Grigoropoulos-Peleytay, Esq. upon the occasion of her
designation for special recognition at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Visionary Awards Gala on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Crest Hollow Country
Club in Woodbury, New York; and
WHEREAS, Chrissy Grigoropoulos-Peleytay has devoted her professional
endeavors to advancing justice, equality, and access to legal
representation for injured and underserved communities throughout New
York; and
WHEREAS, Earning a Juris Doctor degree in 2013, Chrissy
Grigoropoulos-Peleytay established Grigor Law Group in 2016, guided by a
clear mission: to fight for the rights of the injured, the voiceless,
and working-class families frequently neglected by the legal system; and
WHEREAS, Chrissy Grigoropoulos-Peleytay has built Grigor Law into
one of New York's leading personal injury and workers' compensation law
firms, representing thousands of clients across Nassau County, Queens,
the Bronx, and beyond; her practice is rooted in ensuring access to
medical care, holding negligent parties accountable, and securing fair
compensation for victims and their families; and
WHEREAS, Chrissy Grigoropoulos and her firm maintain a strong and
visible presence throughout New York City, Nassau, and Suffolk County by
supporting community events, neighborhood outreach programs, and
seasonal initiatives, reinforcing this esteemed honoree's commitment to
serving not only her clients, but her community at large; and
WHEREAS, Through Grigor Law's ongoing outreach initiatives, Chrissy
Grigoropoulos-Peleytay's firm has distributed over 2,000 turkeys,
donated more than 1,500 toys, and delivered over 500 bags of groceries
to families, churches, and community organizations across New York; and
WHEREAS, Alongside its charitable toy and food drives, Chrissy
Grigoropoulos-Peleytay's Grigor Law firm is a proud supporter of youth
athletics and mentorship initiatives, as well as other programs that
promote teamwork, leadership, and positive youth development; and
WHEREAS, Focusing increasingly on youth education and advocacy,
Chrissy Grigoropoulos-Peleytay is currently developing a scholarship
initiative aimed at supporting disadvantaged children and helping them
pursue their academic and professional goals; and
WHEREAS, Chrissy Grigoropoulos-Peleytay is the bestselling author of
"LADYSHARK: How to Become a Millionaire in Your 30s," a motivational
self-help book focused on mindset, discipline, and financial
empowerment, encouraging readers to aim higher, reject limitations, and
pursue financial freedom with confidence and persistence; and
WHEREAS, Chrissy Grigoropoulos-Peleytay has been featured in
numerous publications and recognized with several honors, a testament to
her impactful life; and
WHEREAS, Her career stands as a testament to the belief that true
justice is achieved not only through courtroom victories, but through
service, mentorship, and the empowerment of future generations; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Chrissy
Grigoropoulos-Peleytay has displayed throughout her life; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Chrissy Grigoropoulos-Peleytay upon the occasion of her
designation for special recognition at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Visionary Awards Gala on March 22, 2026; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Chrissy Grigoropoulos-Peleytay.
