        Introduced by Sen. SEPULVEDA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed  to be committed to the Committee on Housing, Construction and
          Community Development
 
        AN ACT to amend the real property law, in  relation  to  evictions    in
          manufactured home parks
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Paragraph 4 of subdivision d of section  233  of  the  real
     2  property  law, as amended by chapter 566 of the laws of 1996, is amended
     3  to read as follows:
     4    4. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraphs one and  two  of  this
     5  subdivision,  nor  of  any  other general, special or local law, rule or
     6  regulation to the contrary, the officer to whom the warrant is  directed
     7  and  delivered  shall  give  [seventy-two  hours]  fourteen days written
     8  notice to the person or persons to be evicted or dispossessed,  if  such
     9  person  or persons rents a manufactured home in a manufactured home park
    10  from a manufactured home park owner or operator and such  officer  shall
    11  execute such warrant between the hours of sunrise and sunset.
    12    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
