SUTTON -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules AN ACT to amend the public housing law, in relation to authorizing the division of housing and community renewal to enforce building codes The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Subdivision 1 of section 14 of the public housing law is 2 amended by adding a new paragraph (y) to read as follows: 3 (y) enforce the uniform fire prevention and building code promulgated 4 under article eighteen of the executive law and the housing maintenance 5 code of the city of New York promulgated under chapter two of title 6 twenty-seven of the administrative code of the city of New York and any 7 regulations, rules and policies enacted pursuant thereto, in addition to 8 any other laws, rules or regulations related to properties owned by 9 local municipalities and housing authorities. 10 § 2.
