        AN ACT to amend the state law, in relation to a state flag  for  raising
          awareness of veteran suicide

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. The state law is amended by adding a new section 93 to read
     2  as follows:
     3    § 93. State  flag  for  raising  awareness  of  veteran  suicide.  The
     4  "Suicide  Awareness  and  Remembrance  Flag" shall be the official state
     5  flag for the raising of awareness of veteran suicide.  The  commissioner
     6  of  general  services  shall establish a protocol for the flying of such
     7  flag.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
