AN ACT to amend the criminal procedure law, in relation to modernizing
the statutory peace officer designation of certain employees of the
Triborough bridge and tunnel authority
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Subdivision 20 of section 2.10 of the criminal procedure
2 law, as amended by chapter 693 of the laws of 2023, is amended to read
3 as follows:
4 20. [Bridge and tunnel officers, sergeants, lieutenants, captains,
5 inspectors, deputy chiefs, assistant chiefs, and chiefs] Sworn officers
6 of the Triborough bridge and tunnel authority.
7 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
