SCARCELLA-SPANTON -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Transportation AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to establishing a central business district toll exemption for certain police officers The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 1704-a of the vehicle and traffic law is amended by 2 adding a new subdivision 2-a to read as follows: 3 2-a. Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, no police officer 4 shall be charged a central business district toll if such police officer 5 is employed in the police force of a city with a population of one 6 million or more. 7 § 2.
