AN ACT to amend the penal law, in relation to public lewdness in the
first degree
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Subdivision 2 of section 245.03 of the penal law, as added
2 by chapter 186 of the laws of 2014, is amended to read as follows:
3 2. [he or she] such person commits the crime of public lewdness, as
4 defined in section 245.00 of this article, and [within the preceding
5 year] has been convicted of [an offense defined in] such [section
6 245.00] crime or of a violation of this section within the preceding
7 three years.
8 § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of November next succeed-
9 ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
