AN ACT in relation to authorizing the village of North Haven, Suffolk
county, to reduce the maximum speed limit along certain designated
streets in such village to not less than 20 miles per hour
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Notwithstanding any general, special or local law or code
2 to the contrary, the village board of the village of North Haven in
3 Suffolk county, subject to the limitations imposed by sections 1624 and
4 1684 of the vehicle and traffic law, may by local law, ordinance, order,
5 rule or regulation, establish maximum speed limits at not less than
6 twenty miles per hour on any portion of the following streets within
7 such village: Actors Colony Road, Bayberry Lane, Corwin Road, Cove
8 Road, Coves End Lane, Fahy's Road, First Street, Fresh Pond Road,
9 Muanakea Street, Payne Avenue, Second Street, Seely Lane, Sunset Beach
10 Road, Sunset Road, Third Street, Thistle Patch Lane, Tyndall Road, and
11 Wild Cherry Lane.
12 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
