AN ACT to amend chapter 509 of the laws of 2016, amending the tax law
relating to authorizing the imposition of an occupancy tax in the
village of Port Chester, in relation to the effectiveness thereof
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 509 of the laws of 2016, amending the
2 tax law relating to authorizing the imposition of an occupancy tax in
3 the village of Port Chester, as amended by chapter 411 of the laws of
4 2022, is amended to read as follows:
5 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be
6 deemed repealed December 31, [2025] 2027.
7 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
