        Introduced  by  Sen.  MAYER  -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Investigations and Govern-
          ment Operations
 
        AN ACT to amend chapter 505 of the laws of 2016, amending  the  tax  law
          relating to the imposition of an occupancy tax in the village of Tuck-
          ahoe, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 505 of the laws of 2016, amending  the
     2  tax law relating to the imposition of an occupancy tax in the village of
     3  Tuckahoe,  as  amended by chapter 409 of the laws of 2022, is amended to
     4  read as follows:
     5    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
     6  deemed repealed September 1, [2025] 2027.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
