        Introduced  by  Sen. JACKSON -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Civil Service and Pensions
 
        AN ACT directing the director of the budget to amend the  state's  over-
          time  compensation  eligibility  policy to include all positions allo-
          cated up to and including salary grade 23

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding section 134 of the civil service law or any
     2  other  provision  of  law, rule or regulation to the contrary, effective
     3  April 1, 2025, the director of the budget shall amend the state's  over-
     4  time  compensation  eligibility  policy  as specified in Budget Bulletin
     5  G-1024, as issued July 27, 1986, to include all positions  allocated  up
     6  to and including salary grade 23.
     7    §  2.  This  act  shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
     8  have been in full force and effect on and after April 1, 2025.
