FERNANDEZ -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Investigations and Govern- ment Operations AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to requiring five feet of distance between alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 105 of the alcoholic beverage control law is 2 amended by adding a new subdivision 23-a to read as follows: 3 23-a. Each retail licensee of liquor and/or wine for consumption off 4 the premises shall be prohibited from placing such liquor and/or wine 5 for sale within five feet of nonalcoholic beverages. 6 § 2.
