AN ACT to amend chapter 495 of the laws of 2011 relating to the convey-
ance of land formerly used as an armory to the town of Riverhead,
county of Suffolk, in relation to the permitted use of such property
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 4 of chapter 495 of the laws of 2011 relating to
2 the conveyance of land formerly used as an armory to the town of River-
3 head, county of Suffolk, is amended to read as follows:
4 § 4. Any lands transferred pursuant to this act [shall be used for the
5 purposes of the town of Riverhead to utilize the subject property and
6 improve the structures for use by the police department, justice court,
7 public safety and recreational programs developed and operated by the
8 town of Riverhead police department] may be leased or sold to the YMCA
9 of Long Island to be used for recreational and community programs for
10 all ages and upon termination of such use title to the lands so trans-
11 ferred shall revert to the [state of New York] town of Riverhead.
12 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
