        Introduced  by  Sen. ADDABBO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
 
        AN ACT to amend the racing, pari-mutuel wagering and  breeding  law,  in
          relation  to  requiring  harness  racetrack locations awarded a gaming
          facility license maintain live racing activity

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Paragraph  (b)  of  subdivision  1 of section 1355 of the
     2  racing, pari-mutuel wagering and breeding law, as amended by chapter 243
     3  of the laws of 2020, is amended and a new paragraph (c) is added to read
     4  as follows:
     5    (b) All racetrack locations awarded a gaming  facility  license  shall
     6  maintain  racing  activity  and  race dates pursuant to articles two and
     7  three of this chapter[.];
     8    (c) All harness racetrack locations awarded a gaming facility  license
     9  shall  maintain live racing activity and race dates pursuant to articles
    10  two and three of this chapter.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect on the ninetieth day  after  it  shall
    12  have become a law.
