AN ACT to amend chapter 495 of the laws of 2011 relating to the convey-
ance of land formerly used as an armory to the town of Riverhead,
county of Suffolk, in relation to the use of such property
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 4 of chapter 495 of the laws of 2011 relating to
2 the conveyance of land formerly used as an armory to the town of River-
3 head, county of Suffolk, is amended to read as follows:
4 § 4. Any lands transferred pursuant to this act shall be authorized to
5 be subject to a lease between the town of Riverhead and the YMCA of Long
6 Island for a term of 99 years at a nomimal value of one dollar used for
7 the purposes of the [town of Riverhead] YMCA of Long Island to utilize
8 the subject property [and improve the structures for use by the police
9 department, justice court, public safety and recreational programs
10 developed and operated by the town of Riverhead police department and
11 upon termination of such use title to the lands so transferred shall
12 revert to the state of New York] to improve the structures and provide
13 for recreational and community services; provided, however, that if such
14 lands cease to be used for such purposes, then such lands shall revert
15 to the state of New York.
16 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
