AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to
authorizing hunting big game by rifle in the county of Niagara; and
providing for the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the
2 environmental conservation law is amended by adding a new item (q) to
3 read as follows:
4 (q) The county ofDeer, the first SaturdayPistol, shotgun,
5 Niagara exceptafter November 15crossbow, muzzle
6 within the city ofthrough first Sundayloading firearm,
7 Niagara Falls, theafter December 7rifle or long bow
8 city of Lockport
9 and the city of

11 § 2. Item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
12 the environmental conservation law, as amended by section 2 of chapter
13 230 of the laws of 2023, is amended to read as follows:
14 (f) Southern tier, Deer, first Pistol, shotgun,
15 central and Western Monday after November crossbow,
16 region, except those 15 through first muzzle loading
17 counties or portions Tuesday after firearm or
18 thereof listed in December 7 long bow only
19 item (i), (j), (k),
20 (l), (m), (n), (o)

11 § 4. Item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
12 the environmental conservation law, as amended by section 4 of chapter
13 230 of the laws of 2023, is amended to read as follows:

22 § 5. This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that:
23 a. the amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907
24 of the environmental conservation law made by section one of this act
25 shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such paragraph
26 pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended;
27 b. the amendments to item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
28 section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section
29 two of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such
30 item pursuant to paragraph d of section 5 of chapter 152 of the laws of
31 2020, as amended;
32 c. sections three and four of this act shall take effect upon the
33 expiration and reversion of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section
34 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law, as provided in section 13
35 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended; and
36 d. nothing contained in this act shall be construed so as to extend
37 the provisions of this act beyond October 1, 2026, when upon such date
38 this act shall expire and the provisions contained herein shall be
39 deemed repealed.
