AN ACT to amend the real property law, in relation to capital improve-
ment costs pursuant to which a manufactured home park may increase
rent above three percent
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Paragraph (c) of subdivision 2 of section 233-b of the real
2 property law, as added by section 12 of part O of chapter 36 of the laws
3 of 2019, is amended to read as follows:
4 (c) Increases in costs which are directly related to capital improve-
5 ments, as defined by section eleven hundred one of the tax law, in the
6 park.
7 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
