        Introduced  by  Sen. PERSAUD -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Investigations and Govern-
          ment  Operations  --  committee  discharged,  bill  amended,   ordered
          reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee
 
        AN  ACT  to amend chapter 238 of the laws of 2021 relating to permitting
          the use of municipal space for outdoor dining, in relation to  extend-
          ing the effectiveness thereof
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 7 of chapter 238 of the laws of  2021  relating  to
     2  permitting  the use of municipal space for outdoor dining, as renumbered
     3  by chapter 165 of the laws of 2022, is amended to read as follows:
     4    § 7. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
     5  deemed repealed [one year] four years after it shall have become a law.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
