        Introduced  by  Sen.  MAYER  -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Consumer Protection
 
        AN ACT to amend chapter 667 of the laws of  2021  amending  the  general
          business  law  relating to establishing a set grace period for the use
          of credit card reward points, in relation to the effectiveness thereof

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1. Section 2 of chapter 667 of the laws of 2021, amending the
     2  general business law relating to establishing a set grace period for the
     3  use of credit card reward points, is amended to read as follows:
     4    § 2. This act shall take effect [one year] two years  after  it  shall
     5  have become a law, and shall apply to all credit card agreements entered
     6  into, renewed, modified or amended on or after such effective date.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
