        Introduced  by  Sen.  MURRAY -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government
 
        AN ACT to amend the general municipal law, in relation to  contributions
          paid into the insurance reserve fund by the Medford fire district
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Subdivision 4 of section 6-n of the general municipal  law,
     2  as  amended  by  chapter  819 of the laws of 1986, is amended to read as
     3  follows:
     4    4. The amount paid into such fund during any  fiscal  year  shall  not
     5  exceed  the  greater of thirty-three thousand dollars or five per centum
     6  of the total budget for such fiscal year. Provided, however, the Medford
     7  fire district, located in the county of Suffolk, may deposit  into  such
     8  fund  the  sum of four hundred thousand dollars in each of the years two
     9  thousand twenty-six, two thousand twenty-seven and two thousand  twenty-
    10  eight.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
