Requires retailers of temporary and permanent swimming pools to provide notice to consumers that the NYS uniform fire prevention and building code and, if such notice is given in certain localities, the building code of the city of New York require barriers around pools that contain certain levels of water; requires written notice informing consumers that local laws regarding fencing and other safety requirements for swimming pools may be more restrictive than standards in the NYS uniform fire prevention and building code and the building code of the city of New York.
