| Makes certain domestic partners, parents, and widows and children of firefighters dying as a result of the terrorist attacks of 9/11/01 eligible for the special accidental death benefits provided pursuant to section 208-f of the general municipal law; defines domestic partner broadly; affirms authority of the courts to find and determine domestic partners pursuant to various criteria; makes the surviving domestic partners of certain deceased firefighters eligible for health insurance coverage; makes the surviving siblings of certain deceased firefighters eligible for certain pension benefits. |
