        AN  ACT to amend the education law, in relation to biennial registration
          fees for the profession of medical physics
 

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Subdivision  6  of  section 8705 of the education law, as
     2  added by chapter 495 of the laws of 2001, is amended to read as follows:
     3    6. Fee: pay a fee of three  hundred  dollars  to  the  department  for
     4  admission  to a department conducted examination for licensure, a fee of
     5  one hundred fifty dollars for licensure with special competency  in  the
     6  first  specialty  and twenty-five dollars for each additional specialty,
     7  and a fee of [three hundred] one hundred twenty-five  dollars  for  each
     8  biennial registration period.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
